The Penoles industry is a metallurgy mining company in Mexico. The Vulcan mineral descaler is used to remove huge concentrations of mineral scale in their mining operations: 70 gr/l – 70,000 Mg/ L – 4,090 GPG

The water hardness at this mining operation was measured at 4,090 GPG. At these extreme hardness levels the lime scale content continuously blocked pipelines and their open air water gutter systems. Before Vulcan was installed the only way to remove the hardened mineral scale was through mechanical process and power tools.

After 15 days of using the Vulcan descaler the lime scale in the pipes became brittle, and after 8 months the huge encrustations could easily be removed.
