The hotel had large amounts of scale chunks on the heating element and in the reservoir sump. After 12 weeks of using the Vulcan descaler the scale had been removed.

Electronic hard water descaler (Vulcan) has been installed on the main water lines of the Bodega Marine Housing Dormitories and on the cold water pipe of the main Bodega Laborator.
Since late 2007, after we installed the Vulcan S25 in our facilities, according to our customers and maintenance managers, we have significantly noticed the effectiveness of Vulcan in our facilities.
We used chemicals to remove the scale of cooling tower before. After Vulcan was installed, we stopped the dosing process, and all equipment is still running well. Vulcan completely replaced the chemicals and saves cost for the company.
Based on our savings alone, the Vulcan descaler has already paid for itself. An additional benefit has been in the greatly reduced amount of cooling tower maintenance. The calcium buildup has been miniscule and the little bit that has accumulated can be easily washed away with a garden hose and nozzle.
The Vulcan descaler device not only saved our company a lot of water treatment costs, but also significantly lowered our filter cloth costs and the labor workload requird to deal with our mineral scale problems.
The visible scale deposits are less and the cleaning is much easier than without Vulcan – with less need of chemicals. Also the scale deposits of the cisterns and shower heads are much less, so we have less maintenance costs. We recommend your Vulcan system and we will install more Vulcan systems in further of our sanitary stations in Switzerland.
